PORK TOFU ROLL

INGREDIENTS :

120g pork sirloin slices, 1 block of hard tofu, 6 cloves of garlic, 2T oil, some shiso leaves.


SEASONINGS:
1T soy sauce, some sesame oil, some ground white pepper, some chongju, some citron honey.

PREPARATION :

1. Peel, rinse and mince garlic.
2. Rinse pork sirloin slices and drain; Slap the pork slices with the blade of a knife to make the slices thinner; Marinate in seasonings and the garlic for at least 30 minutes.
3. Wipe-clean shiso leaves with damp kitchen paper; Cut into shreds.
4. Drain tofu; Cut into match sticks.
5. Lay a piece of pork slice fat; Put a tofu match stick on one end of the pork slice and roll up the pork to wrap the tofu (repeat the step till the ingredients are used up).
6. Add 2T oil to a non-stick pan; Swirl the pan around to evenly grease the pan; Heat over a high heat; Turn to a low heat; Add the shiso leaves; Cook over a high heat for seconds; Turn to a low heat; Set the shiso leaves aside; Arrange the pork rolls in the pan; Pan-fry each side over a low-medium heat for roughly 30 seconds; Turn to a high heat; Pan-fry over a high heat till done (flip over few times); Turn off the heat; Arrange on serving plates; Garnish with the shiso leaves.
