GINGER PORK

INGREDIENTS :

300g pork chop, 100g cabbage, 1 onion, 18g ginger, 2T oil.


SEASONINGS:
(1) 1T soy sauce, 1/4t grain syrup, 1t corn starch, some ground white pepper, some sesame oil.
(2) 2T soy sauce, 1.5T grain syrup, 2T chonju.

PREPARATION :

1. Rinse pork chop; Trim off the fat; Tenderize the pork chop with meat mullet for 5 minutes; Cut into slices; Marinate in seasoning (1) for 60 minutes.
2. Cut off the head of cabbage; Rinse and drain; Julienne; Arrange on a serving plate.
3. Peel, rinse and mince ginger; Add to a bowl; Add seasoning (2); Stir till well mixed.
4. Peel, rinse and cut off both ends of onion; Julienne.
5. Add 1T oil to a non-stick wok; Heat over a medium heat; Turn to a low heat; Add the onion; Stir-fry over a low heat for 3 minutes; Set the onion aside; Add 1T oil; Heat over a medium heat; Add the pork chop; Stir-fry over medium heat till medium; Add the ginger sauce from the step 3; Return the onion to the wok; Stir-fry over a medium heat till done; Turn off the heat; Arrange on the serving plate with the cabbage.
