GRILLED SHRIMPS

INGREDIENTS :

480g shrimp (large), 3 cloves of garlic, 16g ginger, 1 lime, 1t oil.


SEASONINGS:
2T soy sauce, 1T chonju (i.e. rice wine), 1t Korean hot red pepper powder.

PREPARATION :

1. Peel, rinse and mince ginger.
2. Peel, rinse and mince garlic.
3. Rinse a lime; Cut into halves; Juice an half; Slice the remaining.
4. Shell shrimps but keep the tail intact; Slit twice at the back and remove veins; Rinse and drain.
5. Add seasonings, the lime juice, the ginger and the garlic to a mixing bowl; Add the shrimps; Stir till well mixed.
6. Pre-heat a grill to its maximum heat.
7. Arrange a greased aluminum pan on the grill; Add the shrimps; Cook till the shrimps turned pink; Remove the shrimps from the heat; Turn off the grill.
8. Arrange the shrimps on a serving plate; Garnish with the lime slices; Serve hot.
